Wall art for long rooms

Measure the furniture first. Art should be about two thirds the width of the sofa or credenza below it. If you cannot find one canvas at that scale, use a diptych or a tight grid.

Keep frames in one metal or one wood. Mixed frames on a long wall look like leftovers from different rooms.

In an office, choose work without text. Type on a wall starts to feel like signage after a few meetings.
